Get Ready for Europe is an educational initiative designed to support Ukrainians in adapting to European standards through modern educational programs, the development of intercultural competence, and access to professional opportunities both in Ukraine and across EU member states. As part of the project, we are actively developing international partnerships and strengthening regional cooperation with the EU.
On May 1, 2025, a round table was held in Kyiv titled:
“Ukraine – EU: Ways to Strengthen Joint Initiatives of the Educational Community and Civil Society.”
The event brought together representatives of Ukrainian educational and governmental institutions, experts in European integration, civil society leaders, and delegates from the European Union.
The main objective of the round table was to discuss ways to deepen cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in the fields of education, intercultural dialogue, labor market integration, and non-formal education. Particular attention was given to analyzing EU education policies, aligning the Ukrainian education system with European standards, enhancing academic mobility, and expanding Ukrainian access to European educational opportunities.
Key discussion topics included:
- The impact of the EU on shaping education policy in member states
- Overcoming cultural barriers through education
- Labor market integration and the role of second language acquisition
- Alternative models of educational institutions as tools for integration
- To identify practical solutions and share expert advice on accessing European educational programs and adapting to new learning environments.
